We, are MUTR. What can we do for you?

As colleagues and friends will remember, Teaching Resources started life supporting local schools and in-service events. It has now grown into a much larger self-funded organisation within Middlesex University, but its central aim remains that of supporting design and technology teachers during times of very rapid change. We work closely with the Technology Enhancement Programme (TEP) and the rapidly emerging Science Enhancement Programme (SEP) - and make special mention here of the generosity of the Gatsby Charitable Foundation which has facilitated the outstanding work of these initiatives.

Middlesex University Teaching Resources (MUTR), was pleased to support the Gatsby-funded Science Year Gift launched by the Royal Society.

The move from cottage industry to the much larger organisation has not been easy, but we continue to be magnificently supported by the patience and enthusiasm of our ?customers? and of Middlesex University. As this new website will demonstrate, we want to help drive our subject forward, but at the same time retain the vital skills that enable young people to engage with materials and turn ideas into real products.

We remain committed to innovation and service ahead of profit, and we hope you will enjoy looking through these pages and seeing the new things on offer, both to educational and home users, many of which have been suggested by you.

On behalf of all at Teaching Resources and Middlesex, we wish you every success for the new academic year.
